Deluded

Blue crimson perfection,
With its intoxicating scent invading my senses
Such genetically engineered beauty haunts
In the folds of my mind's eye

It is but a reality that is far sweeter in the here and now
Down deep in illusion's poisoned pool
Where unbridled passions swim
Amongst untold fantasies...
